Department of Pharmacology
These well-equipped laboratories help train the students in practical studies of anatomy physiology and health education, pharmacology, chemotherapy and bioassay of various drugs. The advanced pharmacology lab is specially designed to carry out animal model experiments for various known and new drugs of chemical and herbal origin. Human anatomy physiology deals with the structural and functional aspects of the human body.
Pharmacology includes the study of effects of various drugs in the animals and humans. With the detailed information regarding its mechanism of action, therapeutic uses and Adverse effects.Pharmacology involves experimental demonstration of drug effects on different tissues & organs. It is tested on animals like frogs, guinea pigs etc. Anatomical diagrams of important organs are displayed in this lab to facilitate the students to understand the importance of experimental pharmacology.
